My little chihuahua ingested some rat poison he found in our yard…Dr. Porter was extremely helpful and we were able to not only get the treatment process started at home, he assisted in finding us an emergency veterinarian! And he continued to check in after to see how my little guy was doing.
Excellent service and so grateful this was available, otherwise my little guy might not have made it.
Thank you SO MUCH Dr. Porter!
Unfortunately our dog ate chocolate on July 4th and our vet was closed for the holiday along with the local animal emergency hospital. After reading on the web that dogs can die from this we were in a panic.
But after contacting Just Answer and our fears of losing our dog were put at rest. We texted and spoke to the doctor on call.
She answered our questions and was very helpful. We are very happy for contacting this service. Our dog did just fine and is okay.
At a time when answers aren’t easy to receive on 12-11-2021, my puppy had an incident at 4:35AM, just answer was not only available but concerned & returned a response immediately upon receipt of all pertinent information. Emergency clinic could not assist but referred me to poison control with ASPCA which did not answer my call but informed me that assisting me with my questions would cost me $75.00. In a state of panic out of concern for my 11 month old puppy (also added panic due to losing my 10 year old Leo last year in June during the covid pandemic) just answers quick, evaluation, quick response, quick actions that I needed to take & all out concern for my puppy she is safe & doing fine today. I cannot express my thanks to just answer. On behalf on my puppy you helped, Phoenix, her sister Montana & her pet parent Cindy we thank you from the bottom of our hearts,
My 4 lb poodle ate rat poison at 10:00 at night. The nearest emergency vet is over an hour away and I could not get them to help me over the phone. I found Justanswer.com and was in contact with a vet, Dr. Chevalier, immediately. She told me what to do, stayed with me while I did it and my dog is alive and healthy. All thanks to Justanswer.com and Dr. Chevalier.
Had a pet emergency from our dog eating a poisonous plant. Just moved to new area, no vet, and on the 4th of July. Thankfully I stumbled upon this site in my desperate search for help. They were very responsive, gave great info (I used text and phone conversation). The vets were great and helped walk me through treatment.
Honestly, JustAnswer is a site that clearly shows how technology is being used to change the way society functions. I was on the verge of freaking out because my dog ate a grape. If you own a dog, then you know that a dog eating grapes can be fatal. Being in Los Angeles during the Covid-19 quarantine, I didn’t want to leave the house unless it was absolutely necessary. After searching on Google and coming up with everything from “don’t worry about it” to “dig a grave”, I saw JustAnswer and was communicating with a vet in minutes. Thank you!!!
Our lab, Cooper got into the trash & ate chicken bones and old dog food that had been sprayed with insecticide. It was a Saturday, our vet was closed. Emergency vet is nearly two hours away.
We received answers about what to do & what not to do & reassurance that he would be ok & what to watch for as potential side effects.
I was so worried about my 9 week old Golden Retriever puppy that ate one of my transcription headphone earpieces, specifically the metal piece. Dr. Altman was very detailed about what to do and very assuring. I like that she always replied promptly and followed up with me the next day. My puppy is fine and I feel much relieved after conversing with the vet.
